DF-IS has extended its portfolio of business
websites, and has continued to maintain some of the charity sites that we
support. We have continued to act in a consultancy capacity to organisations,
educational and other, that are building their own websites. DF-IS now has an expanding portfolio of websites that we have either
produced, or have helped to get underway.
Cogratulations to one of
our clients, The Kentish Heritage Pub Co who have been given a CAMRA
award - Favourite British
Pub
- for their real ale
pub The Crown & Thistle.
They even made it on to
the TV but I was in the pub and missed it!.
We have
successfully completed a website for the largest supplier of Accordion Sheet
Music in GB, and possibly Europe, Trevani.
The site has recently gone live and
we have a very satisfied client with very positive feedback from their
customers.
Meanwhile we are busy updating the sites of
four of our longstanding clients, including Westminster Party Boats and the
Capuchin Franciscans of Great Britain.
We have just completed two exciting new ventures, one with a rapidly
growing cleaning specialist company  , the other with a
company specialising in process control and management software,
Unique
Data. Both of these sites were an interesting
venture for us in that they were both built live and at the same time.
Otherwise, one site was working,
fully, within three days - it's what we claimed we could do, and we delivered.
The other site is still an ongoing project, but appears to be seamless most of
the time, as we update and refine it. (No "this site is under
construction")
What DF-IS has done in the past six months is, not exactly
to reinvent ourselves, but to focus more on the niche, where we have discovered
we can make good use of all our skills. We are targetting small to medium sized
businesses that either want some input into the way their site is built, or
wish to maintain the site themselves after
handover.
